Welcome!

Welcome to the Davis Community Church (DCC) web pages. We are a congregation that has been rooted in the community of Davis for over 125 years. At the same time, we're always seeking those new ways through which God continues to speak to the Church and to the world today (and, thus, our "on-line" welcome to you!).

DCC is a congregation with a dual heritage. As the oldest Protestant congregation in Davis, we have "grown up" with the city and continue to see the whole city as our parish. You'll find members of our church in leadership positions throughout the community -- at the university, in business, in the helping professions -- seeking to bring healing and wholeness to wherever people and families are hurting in our community. We also have been a Presbyterian congregation since our founding in 1869, and are proud of the way our particular heritage invites people to approach the Christian faith both as a journey of the heart and the mind.

If you're looking for a congregation in which your own faith journey will be honored and in which you will be challenged to grow -- spiritually, intellectually and personally -- then we'd like to invite you to visit us in person. You can't miss us: ours is the Spanish mission style church building located just across from central park and the Farmers Market at the corner of Fourth and C Streets in downtown Davis.

We would love to have you visit us in worship or to drop by to talk with one of us. You also can contact us on-line.

Ours is warm and open congregation which seeks to welcome all kinds of people into its community. We hope you will consider becoming part of the diverse and growing Christian community at DCC.
